Admission Procedure
A) Candidates of H.SC. (Academic) and other equivalent examinations:
- For Communities other than BC/BC (Christians)/BC(Muslims) / MBC&DNC / SC/ ST – Other Communities. A minimum average of 50.00% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- For BC (Christians)/BC (Muslims) Communities A minimum average of 45.00% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- For MBC & DNC Communities A minimum average of 40.00% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
- For SC/ST a mere pass in the qualifying Examination with the Vocational subjects prescribed and Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry
- For other state students, a minimum average of 50.00% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Note : When the candidates produce grade certificates, they have to produce actual marks also otherwise only the minimum marks applicable to the grades in the eligible subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) will be taken into account. Improvement marks will not be considered including for other candidates.
B) For Diploma Holders: (Lateral Entry)
- For other communities (F.C.) 55% average in the last two semesters
- For B.C Communities 50% average in the last two semesters
- For M.B.C & D.N.C Communities 45% average in the related subjects
